ATTENTION iPad MathGirls!
There’s a strange volume glitch with our apps and some iPads. A wonderful MathGirl mom discovered a solution.

1. Go to Settings > General
2. Under “Use Side Switch to” If Mute is set, select Lock Rotation OR if Lock Rotation is set, select Mute.
(Have the side switch in the off position–the orange dot not visible)
3. Run MathGirl and confirm that you can change the volume using the physical volume buttons
4. (Optional) Set the side switch in settings back to either Mute or Lock Rotation and use the side switch as you normally would.

Voile! Fixed!

The screen froze with the house and a keyboard below the house. I cannot get off it and back to the game. How do I reset?

I just purchased this app and now it’s not working! There’s a keyboard frozen on screen. App won’t let my girls play. Where’s the app support? What a waste!

For 18 months our games worked beautifully but now we can’t affordably keep up with so many iOS upgrades and new devices. We’re getting a few complaints from ipad2 users. We are now charging 99¢ instead of $1.99 and may decide to take MathGirl apps out of the store.

Meanwhile, you can delete the app from your device and reload it through the iTunes Store with no charge. That may solve your problem.

Hi Beth, Please try deleting the app from your device and reloading it from iTunes. They won’t charge you again. Please let us know if this works!
